TripDataHub Privacy Policy
TripDataHub is an independently developed operational schedule utility for users who manually import, manage, and organize their own schedule information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information TripDataHub may collect, how it is used, how optional iCloud synchronization works, and how users can contact us.
TripDataHub is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by UPS, CrewAccess, Zscaler, Apple, or any airline, employer, or schedule provider.
1. Information You Provide or Import
TripDataHub may process information that you manually provide or import into the app, including:
- Schedule PDF files that you choose to import
- Parsed schedule information
- Flight and trip information
- Layover information
- Hotel information, if included in the imported schedule data
- Manual Operational Events, such as reserve, long call-out, hot standby, recurrent training, or call-in duty entries
- Manual Personal Events, such as commute, medical appointment, or other user-created calendar items
- Crew Base settings
- UTC / Local time display preferences
- GEMS ID or similar user-provided operational identifier
This information is used only to provide TripDataHub app functionality, including calendar rendering, timeline rendering, event management, PDF export, and optional synchronization across the user’s own Apple devices.
TripDataHub does not automatically access your schedule system, does not scrape your account, and does not collect your login credentials.
Users are responsible for manually authenticating with their own schedule source and manually importing their own schedule PDFs.
2. Schedule and Event Data
When you import a schedule PDF, TripDataHub may parse and store schedule-related information so the app can display your timeline, trips, layovers, hotels, and related schedule details.
Schedule and event data may include:
- Trip dates
- Flight segments
- Departure and arrival times
- Airport or route information
- Layover information
- Hotel information, if present in the imported schedule
- Manual Operational Events
- Manual Personal Events
This data is used to provide the app’s operational calendar, timeline, synchronization, and export features.
3. GEMS ID and User-Provided Identifiers
TripDataHub may allow users to enter a GEMS ID or similar operational identifier.
This identifier is user-provided and used only inside TripDataHub functionality, such as user profile identification, schedule organization, synchronization, or future optional sharing features.
TripDataHub does not use GEMS ID for employer authentication.
TripDataHub does not verify employment status.
TripDataHub does not access official airline credential systems.
4. Apple iCloud / CloudKit Synchronization
TripDataHub may use Apple iCloud and CloudKit to synchronize app data across the same user’s Apple devices.
CloudKit synchronization may include:
- Imported and parsed schedule data
- Manual Operational Events
- Manual Personal Events
- Crew Base settings
- Display preferences
- User-provided identifiers such as GEMS ID
CloudKit is provided by Apple. Your use of iCloud and CloudKit is also subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
In the current version, CloudKit synchronization is intended for the same user’s own devices.
TripDataHub does not currently provide public social sharing, public schedule broadcasting, or public friend schedule visibility.
5. PDF Export and Sharing
TripDataHub may allow users to export a Bid Period calendar or schedule view as a PDF.
PDF export is initiated by the user.
Exported PDFs may include schedule data, operational events, and other calendar information visible in the app at the time of export.
Users are responsible for deciding where exported PDFs are saved, printed, AirDropped, or shared.
6. No Automated Credential Collection
TripDataHub does not collect, store, or transmit your schedule-system password.
TripDataHub does not perform automated credential harvesting, automated schedule-system access, or background account scraping.
If the app includes a browser or WebView, authentication is performed manually by the user.
7. Data Deletion
TripDataHub is designed to allow users to delete schedule data and manually created events inside the app.
When data is synchronized through iCloud or CloudKit, deletion behavior may also depend on Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit synchronization behavior.

8. No Third-Party Analytics or Crash Reporting Inside the App
TripDataHub does not use third-party analytics tools inside the app.
TripDataHub does not use third-party crash reporting tools inside the app.
TripDataHub does not use Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics, Sentry, Crashlytics, Bugsnag, Instabug, Mixpanel, PostHog, or similar third-party analytics or crash reporting services inside the app.
Apple may provide crash logs, diagnostics, or App Store analytics to developers through Apple’s own developer tools, depending on the user’s device settings and Apple’s policies.
9. No Advertising or Tracking
TripDataHub does not use:
- Third-party advertising
- Advertising ID
- Behavioral advertising
- Cross-app tracking
- Data brokers
- Third-party ad networks
TripDataHub does not sell user data.
10. Optional Support Link
TripDataHub is free to use.
The app may include an optional link to support development, such as Buy Me a Coffee.
Support is completely optional and does not unlock any additional app features, premium access, subscriptions, digital content, or paid functionality.
11. Data Sharing With Third Parties
TripDataHub does not sell your personal data.
TripDataHub does not share your data with third-party advertisers or analytics providers.
Data may be stored or processed through Apple services such as iCloud and CloudKit as required for app functionality.
Data may also be handled by Apple system services when users choose to export, print, AirDrop, or share PDFs.
12. Website Hosting
The TripDataHub website and Privacy Policy page may be hosted through Cloudflare Pages.
Cloudflare may process limited technical information, such as IP address, request metadata, security logs, and basic traffic analytics, to provide hosting, security, and performance services.
This website hosting data is separate from TripDataHub app data. TripDataHub does not use third-party analytics tools inside the app.
13. Children’s Privacy
TripDataHub is not intended for children.
The app is designed as a schedule utility for users who manage their own schedule information.
14. Security
TripDataHub is designed to limit stored data to what is needed for app functionality, syncing, export, and future optional sharing features.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. Users should avoid importing, entering, exporting, or sharing information they do not want stored or displayed in the app.
15. Future Optional Sharing Features
TripDataHub may add optional sharing features in future versions.
If such features are added, users will control whether schedule information is shared with other users.
This Privacy Policy may be updated before or alongside any future sharing features.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
If changes are made, the updated policy will be posted at the Privacy Policy URL with a new effective date.
